It had been over 30 years since Château de Bonnezeaux had released a bottle of wine. Then in 2012, Guyonne Saclier de la Bâtie began farming chenin blanc on the abandoned vineyards using organic and biodynamic practices. Despite being located in an area known for world-famous sweet wines, Guyonne solely makes dry chenin blanc that’s rich, minerally, and complex.

Tastes like: Pear, roasted apricot, wildflowers.

How to drink: Don’t serve it too cold. Chenin is great with spicy food, chicories, and seafood too.
